I was wonder when the schedule for 2005 will be posted so he can come up a watch the little ones racing before I enter him in any. He has been riding a four wheeler for three years now. He rides a little yamah 80 right now.

CommentsHey when is the 2005 race schedule coming out on this website?
CommentsIf anyone could answer this it would help. What is the earliest possible time to get on the track this sunday? 9am? The reason I ask is that I work on Sunday and I start at 12:00 in Eugene. I'd love to come and ride but I would have to leave by 11:00 in order to make it to work on time. Let me know. Thanks
CommentsWe cannot have any motorcycles started until 10am as per Lane countys rules.Sorry.We can fire up heavy equipment earlier. Strange isn't it.
Commentshey matt im sry i have a size 8 t-30 black boots good condition they are size 8 not 9.

CommentsHello , just surfed in to say hello. You have a really nice Page! if you are looking for nice sunny holidays in spain - www.javeaholidays.com
CommentsWOW what a turnout you guys!!!! We hade just over 110 riders this last practice. that puts us where we needed to be for the county, now all we have to do is get the attorney to help fillout and file the paperwork. This might take a little time hope not!----- As some of you might of heard on sunday mike and myself have been discussing how we should go about the rest of the season, We have through april then thats it of winter riding... we really have been brain storming and came up with two options 1)we have two practices in one day and keep it at $10.00 we would run 10am-1:30pm 3.5 hrs take a .5 hr. break and then have the second pratice start at 2pm-5:30pm That way it gives peaple who have to work earlier a chance to ride. OR 2) We charge $15-20. and run 10am-4pm if we run it @ $20 we can aforred flagers and have power on so we can use the snack shak. remember we dont have flagers and such cause we wer'nt keeping ANY money it all goes to the county and the attorny it is up to the public please respond here of what you want!!!!!!!!!!
CommentsI PERSONALLY DONT MIND PAYING AN EXTRA 10 BUCKS TO GET FLAGERS. I GUESS THAT ALSO MEANS I DONT LIKE THE SPLIT PRACTICE IDEA. THE 10-4 PLAN SOUNDS BETTER TO ME. ON ANOTHER NOTE, IT WAS COOL TO SEE SO MANY RIDERS ON SUNDAY. I DID HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT THOUGH. I FELT LIKE THE PRACTICES WITH THE HONDAS IN IT HAD WAY MORE TRACK TIME. I KNOW THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE ON HONDAS, BUT WE ALL PAID.
CommentsGreat looking site! Visit http://buy-phentermine-online.port5.com
CommentsCOME ON RIDERS,LETS GET SOME COMMENTS ON WHAT TO DO WITH PRACTICES.THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO TELL US WHAT YOU THINK.I WILL BE CALLING ALOT OF YOU IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.I REALY WANT TO THANK EVERYONE THAT HAS CAME OUT AND RIDDEN THIS WINTER.HOPFULLY THE REST OF THE YEAR IS AS GOOD AS LAST SUNDAY.I WANT TO PERSONALY THANK RANDY,MIKE AND MARK FOR HELPING FLAG.
CommentsWe will pay 20-bucks for flaggers, and the snack shack. But agree with the yzrider honda's were getting alot more practice time than the yamahas.
CommentsI like paying only 10 dollars for a good practice being the poor starving college student I am. The snack shack sounds cool! however, being the rider I am means a great chance for broken plastic or bones which means more money I will need after a practice. So, my vote is to keep it the way it is. And for Robert's, I need more practice time on my ha! so get off the track!
Commentshow about paying the 10 dollars and everyone take turns flagging for the other groups and have the split practice si it accomdates everyone.

Commentshey, Mike since you want to know what we think of the practices are, i'll tell you. I think the practice on feb. 27th was great but the track was rough and dry. for the practice on the 13th please water. Just like you did in the intermission last practice. I also wouldn't mind paying an extra 5$ to get in the gate. Theres one more thing. The straight strech in the back the one with the 3 little table tops, ya well you know that double in the middle of it could you please build the lip so its easyer to double. please.
thanks, matt
Commentsis there a practice this weekend 3/13??
CommentsYES! WE ARE HAVING PRACTICE THIS SUNDAY THE 13TH.THERE WILL BE ANOTHER POSTING TONIGHT WITH DETAILS.WE ARE TRYING TO MAKE THINGS BETTER AND SAFER FOR EVERYONE. SORRY TO ANY YAMAHA RIDERS,THIS WEEKEND EVERYONE WILL GET EQUAL TIME TO RIDE.TO MATT#5 WE WILL FIX THE DOUBLE.
CommentsTHE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN!!!WE HAVE GOTTEN MORE VOTES FOR SPLIT PRACTICES.SO THIS SUNDAY WE WILL HAVE THE FIRST PRACTICE FROM 10AM TO 1:30PM .THEN WE WILL HAVE A HALF HOUR BREAK.WE WILL WORK ON THE TRACK AND THEN HAVE ANOTHER PRACTICE FROM 2PM UNTILL 5:30.EACH PRACTICE WILL BE $10.IF YOU WANT A LONGER PRACTICE, STAY AND RIDE BOTH.IF YOU CANT RIDE ALLDAY ITS MORE AFFORDABLE TO RIDE ONE SESSION.I HOPE TO SEE ALL OF YOU THIS WEEKEND.THE TRACK WILL BE WATERED AND READY FOR BOTH SESSIONS,THERE MIGHT EVEN BE SOMETHING NEW.

CommentsGood time on sunday. the new back double and the lip on the side double were great. anyone been to any tracks in bend/madras? i might be there this sunday and would like to ride. i see madrasmx has no day scheduled. what about willow creek? no website, just a link on another site. any experience, anyone. thanks MJ
CommentsThanks alot for building that lip up on that double, it was great!
CommentsThe quad track north of monroe is my brother in-laws. It is just a little pactice track for the kids, so they will get experience for the big track at Territorial.
CommentsWillow Creek is now Madras MX. It is ran by the same people that run Albany/Salem
CommentsIn response to Sick of it -- How long have you lived in the area? Why did you purchase property which is next to a motocross track? Were you unaware that there would be a noise factor?
CommentsHey Sick of It, We're not throwing our money out the window. We show up and pay $ to ride because it's fun. Get a life and have some fun of your own. And if the noise seems to loud from your little BBQ party, then you throw a really boring party. Try turning up your stereo, put away your freaking wine glasses and serve some real alcohol. I guarantee that you won't even notice the noise.
CommentsTo SICK OF IT ALL,I am sorry that you feel that our motocross racing is so terrible. The track is a place that riders come to spend time with family and friends.Getting to practice the sport they love is just a benefit.WE have hundreds of riders and a large number of them are children and teens. These kids could be doing alot worse things with there weekends.Without a track were are they going to ride? How many acres do YOU have?WE welcome everyones opinions about the track, but not your sarcasm and childish taunts to our family of riders. If this winter has done anything, its brought us all closer together and made us stronger.I invite you to come out on the 27th and tell our families how much of a joke they are for being there...........TO all of our riders, thank you.
CommentsMY kids love to ride, and it's a good clean sport, they could be playing video games downtown, or getting into trouble with who knows what. I'm glad they would rather spend their time riding a quad.
Commentsto sick of it!!!!! Your probly one of those dumb@$$ neighbors complaining about the noise well listen to this, shut your fricken mouth because this awsome track has been around longer than you have, You knew the track was there before you moved there!!! So grow some balls and suck it UP!! We will get the variance and we will rub it in your face!!
CommentsHey people who think this track is stupid You knew before you moved here that there was a track next to your house and duh dirtbikes make noise!!!! Just suck it up or move because the track is gonna stay.....~*~
CommentsTo sick of it.I hope you realize that this website is not connected to the tracks owners or promoters in any way.Your latest comments and threats are just as childish and rude as the first time. You started this type of talk by basicly yelling fire in a crowded theater.AS far as any actual fires the track instaled a fire hydrant thats fed off of the tracks water tanks. It is next to the grade school and the LRFD will use it if anyones house should ever catch fire, even yours. My offer still stands to come out on the 27th.My children will be hunting for easter eggs.Maybe you can learn to play nice by watching them.
CommentsDear sick of it, If you have been there so much longer than the track, what took you sooooo long to get get "sick of it? Are you just getting old and cranky? I can understand some of the younger riders responding in a childish way, but what is your excuse? Maybe a little senility creeping in? See it's really easy to be sarcastic. I'm a senior rider. I have been in this sport for quite some time. There are alot of really great people putting alot of time and energy into keeping motocross a fun family experience. If you and your neighborhood coalition would grow up there could very well be a compromise that everyone could live with. As with any group there are bound to be a couple of bad apples (as is quite evident in your little party), yet if adults want to work out an issue they usually can. I too invite you down to the track, kick back and enjoy some exciting fun in a predominantly family atmosphere. If you still can't get over that toy, the bully down the street stole from you as a kid, I'm sure we can take up a collection and buy you some blinders and a set of ear plugs so you can withdraw from the world.
CommentsSick of it, Here's an idea, have your little bbq parties on saturdays or the off weekends that we don't race. There is no riding then, you shut us down remember? It sounds like you are being a little bit selfish in the way you are handling this. You took away our racing and saturday riding, so the least you could do for us, in growing up and trying to compromise, is let us have one sunday every two weeks to have our fun, you get the other 13 days to have your little tea party. Oh, and one more thing, if you think some random internet post by some person that comes and writes anything they want is going to give you any pull in a case, than you need to go back and rethink that plan.
CommentsTO: Sick of IT Why do you have to come on to our message board and bother us? Dont you have better things to do with your time? If not I have a couple extra bikes, maybe I could teach you to ride. Then you could bring your family, friends, and bbq parties to the track and have a good time. Also, Cody105 made a good point, why do you have to be so selfish about a couple random days out of a month? Have you ever heard of your 6 P's. Prior Preperation Prevents Piss Poor Permormance. The web site always posts riding days, so plan your outdoor gatherings according to those days if the riding does really bother you. Imagine if there was no track and 150 bikes then came through one of your little bbq gatherings because there is no where to ride. Grow up and let this be America, where one can do what they please on there own land as long as it does not "harm" their neighbor. Have a good day and we hope to see you at the track.
CommentsTo all of your comments to Sick of it all you are not helping your reputation by being crude, rude and threatening. You talk about family oriented and lets work things out like adults but then you say we'll set your house on fire....bring out the real alchohol and turn the stereo up as loud as you can do you think that this kind of talk will help sick of it all think of any thing but trying to harass and shut you down completely. I've heard people talking out there and their ready to sue the land owner for loss of value to their property. So I think its best if everyone including sick of it all took a chill pill or matters are only going to escalate.
CommentsI read all these posts. Sick of it; We understand motorcycles are loud. Maybe the neighborhood coalition could give us one Sunday a month even. You know my brother is in a coalition. He is in the Marines over in Iraq. His bike sits all dusty in our shop. He doesn't ride very much. Some trail riding and goes out to the track every once in a while. When he heard the track was getting shut down he got really sad. Here he is in a war he doesn't agree with. But he keeps fighting because it is for the FREEDOM of the world. Yet at home the place he rides motorcycles is getting shut down. I just thought I would let you know there are good people out in the world who love motorcycles. I apologize for people who probably don't know what is going on coming at you with threatening and rude comments. I am sorry things are bad between us but there are a lot of people that are willing to work with you and a few bozos who aren't. Please give us a chance.
Commentsim a 40 yr old mx rider, i first rode at eugene when i was 10yrs old, now i have kids that ride eugene mx. you see a pattern here anyone?, this is a family sport, family's that ride together stay together. if sick of it can't handle a little noise go hide in your house until the races are over. let the kids ride, and the old guys/gals too.
Commentswhere's all the original eugene riders when we need them, you know who i mean, joe spangler, skeet hise, steve williams, wayne church, rod keller, davis, daly, wyant. these guys can vouch for how long this track has been around. lots of kids stayed out of trouble because of this track.
CommentsI remember the old crew and watching them all race in the mid to late 70's. If it would help to show that this track has been around a long time I still Know alot of us are still living around the area. let me Know if we can help.I Know this track and motocross riding did keep us out of trouble cause thats all we could think about when we were kids, I still ride and was out at last practice and to think that this track could be no more makes me sick to my stomach there are so many memories out there from years past. lets all work together and be mature in our comments on this site. I sure hope things can work out so our kids can have a local track to ride on and create there own memories for the future.
CommentsTo looker from elmira WOW,those names bring back memories dont forget bill boresek he was certainly a territorial or eugene mx hall of famer as well, and terry baker too.Wonder if roger campbell is still alive.Long live eugene mx.
CommentsTerritorial is what it was known back in the day to us now old timers.many fond memories were forged many of moons ago at that plat of soil in western lane county. For most of us after the long rainy season somehow ends and the sun creeps out it takes us back to what was forged beginning there more than thirty years ago.Humility, perserverence, goal acheivement, plain old work ethic and sometimes a pat on the back for a job well done, for many of us we went on to become very productive members of society with the participation ,striving and sometimes conquering of objectives learned at eugene mx all of which carried over to who we are and how this county and community have benefitted by us being its citizens. You see we motocross riders are the physical type, most of us coming out of this community are not scholors. We come from blue collar influences so our values were not forged in the classroom, they were forged at the track, and our kids need this track too.Lane county wake the heck up and snell the pre mix.Lets not forget those welfare wood stove burning probably deer hunting types that live in the vicinity of said track, you probably drive in your pickup trucks with your woman scooted all the way over to your side and your obviously or should I say obliviously low income arnt ya.Get a job and leave us alone go fishin on saturdays or better yet join that church that does saturdays instead of sundays.Your envious of us because we have the bikes you wish you had but somehow couldnt afford, your redneck wives are jealous because we get the gals that have the goods to bare it all why ya alls wives stay coverd up in the flanneled shirts, wake up or better yet put a fence up line it with shrubs so thick its buffers noise. But most importantly mind yas own darn business and leave us alone or we will be forced to make public your lifestyle we were able to catch on tape. This be a warning we will expose you if pushed, let us ride. You can put up better curtains but its now to late we already have you by the voits.WE WIN,WE RIDE AND WE THRIVE.
CommentsRoost from burp hollow is right put up a fence and bushes to block noise but certainly noise from the track cannot be a ligitimate complaint of the neiboring dwellers or peasants as they complain or whine to the county.Dust and dirt could be blocked by buffering the property perimiter with fencing or treeslike albany mx did years ago with those poplark trees along I 5.Noise in fact is measured in decibles or db for those of you with shrinking brain cell syndrome. The average mx bike puts out dbs in the low nineties range but and most importantly when measured in the pits or parking area in realation to the track it measures seventy db.Casual conversation is about seventyfive db.According to mr.christopher real.Real is his last name, the countries formost authority on noise ordinances to get into the willamette national forest, your bike needs to make no more than nintysix db.To ride at the state fairgrounds arenacross in salem you need to make a onehundredthree db cut.Sound limits have been around for years, but uniform testing has been the issue, like any court case litigated its all about interpretation of the law and an eventual judgement call.Joe Blow forest ranger or some overzealous lame county official with a radio shack decible tester and a coat hanger, twists the throttle until your bike redlines and your piston is ready to fly through the top end says it is too loud.Thats where this expert witness on this subject comes in ,this guy named chris real.He is probably the countries leading authority on sound testing and he currently trains forest rangers sheriff deputies,AMA officials and the motorcycle industry on how to perform uniform correctly interpreted db tests. His company.Diversified petrochemical has been involved in engine forensics for thirty years. They wrote the current J1287 testing procedure back in the seventies. He knows a bike can only be accurately db tested just after initial warmup not after a period of running hot for extended time at high rpm.For more archieved government testing results go to chris website;chemhelp.com.Currently the most common field test is the SAEj1287 twentyinch test. This calls for the sound meter to be held at a fourtyfive degree angle from the exhuast.twenty inches away. The big variable is the rpm level.By the book, the revs should be at half of peak horsepower. So if the bike makes 35 hp at 8000rpm,the level should be 4000rpm.These numbers are published by most manufactures. If no data is available, the formula is 306,000 divided by the stroke in millimeters. In general 250 two stroke mxers 4000rpm,125cc 5250,450 4 strokes 4500,250 4 strokes 5500.Anyway lame county officials its not the noise is it?Neiboring dwellers put your head back into the mud of you and yours and leave our dirt alone where its safe and free from your disease.WE WILL NOT GO QUIETLY,WE WILL CONTINUE TO LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL FULL SPEED AHEAD MATIES.
CommentsDear sick of it I dont know if your the same old feller that was on the news with us about a month ago ? But if you are it would be a real shock for all your partners to find out that YOU help get the track started in the first place!!! So even though your triing to shut us down I still will tip my ass I meen glass to you
CommentsDEAR TRACK FANS WE AR NOT I REPEAT NOT HAVING PRACTICE ON EASTER!!! IT WILL BE THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND!!!!!!!JEREMY
CommentsWhen is the summer racing schedule going to be available?Im marking dates on my calender and would like to race eugene mx this year.So far all I see is some initial practice dates.
CommentsPRACTICE UPDATE!!!!!We will not be haveing practice this weekend, the 27th.Because of the easter holiday and massive amounts of rain in the forcast. We have rescheduled it for sunday April 3rd.dont forget that daylight savings starts on that day also.I hope that everyone has a great easter!
Commentsyou should have practice on easter sunday it would be fun in the mud unlless it stays sunny and gets kinda tacky please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
CommentsHi all, I have been out of town the last 2 weeks without acess to this site. I thank Mike Akin for clarifying that this site is hosted by a parent of a rider, and IS NOT HOSTED BY THE TRACK PROMOTERS! It is a "labor of love" and 99% of the comments here are welcome, but please remember that as I pay the monthly bill for the site, I can delete personal attacks and unwelcome language. That being said, I have never found a better bunch of people than the FAMILIES who participate in the sport of motocross. Let's hope that the freedoms and enjoyment that comes with outdoor activities aren't taken away. Note to Sick of it: YOU HAVE BEEN DELETED
CommentsYUO GUYS HAVE A RILLY NICE TRACK AND I WOULD LIKE TO RIDE IT MORE BUT MABEY U GUYS COULD HAVE MORE RACES
CommentsPRACTICE UPDATE!!!!!!!We WILL BE HAVING PRACTICE THIS SUNDAY the 3rd of APRIL.RAIN OR SHINE.We hope to see you there.NOW ON TO ANOTHER SUBJECT,THE WEST LANE NEWS has a story about people that want the track shut down!!!They are planning a community meeting about it.The meeting is scheduled for SUNDAY MARCH 10TH.IT WILL BE AT THE FRANKLIN GRANGE AT 2PM....I ASK EVERYONE THAT WANTS TO KEEP THE TRACK OPEN AND ALSO WORK WITH THE NEIBORES TO ATTEND.THIS IS A CHANCE TO LET THESE PEOPLE KNOW THAT WERE NOT A BUNCH OF BACKWOODS HILLBILLIES OUT TO WRECK THERE WEEKENDS,JUST FAMALIES TRYING TO ENJOY OURS......AGAIN WE ARE HAVEING PRACTICE THIS WEEKEND THE 3RD. (Mike, I fixed the typo for you....Craig)
CommentsPRACTICE!!!!!!SUNDAY APRIL 3RD!!!!!I HAD MY MONTHS MIXED UP LAST POST.ALSO THE COMMUNITY MEETING IS ON THE 10TH OF APRIL.
CommentsHello, Been riding on the track off and on for many years. I would love to be part of anything to help keep it open. Just in case anyone has seen a bike for sale unusually cheap, let me know. Because mine got stolen: 2001 CR125. V-force reeds, Tag (gold) bars, Pro circuit pipe, Shorty silencer, Vented front number plate.
