Team MotoSport Outlet Highlight Photos
September 7th, 2003 - Eugene Oregon
A perfect day for racing saw a large crowd at the track for
MotoSport Outlet Day. A large stable of
MotoSport riders added to the excitement of the regular race crowd. Tons of
giveaways, trivia, and a special halftime challenge race added to the fun. AMA
Pro Tiger Lacey stole the show, and tamed the track like no other rider has
before. Riding on his
MotoSport Outlet sponsored 2003 CRF450,
he quad jumped in and out of the woops section, never before accomplished. In
the challenge race, Tiger was given a 60 second handicap on the 3 lap shootout,
and finished 3rd, passing 9 riders with a head start. Lacey took both motos of
the 250 Pro class, with Ryan Thompson mounting the closest challenge.
The spectators were asked to handicap
and predict the outcome prior to the event. The winner of the bragging rights
for
MotoSport Outlet was Ryan
(Shorty). Riding his 2003 CR250 he was listed as a beginner. Ryan survived a
major tumble in his first class race, to come back and win. (That will teach
most of us not to believe any racing form.)
Thanks guys for a great day at the track!
